As Akasha turns to the left she scans the countless books and scrolls along her sides, absent mindedly hoping that one of the numerous tomes would catch her eye, either riches or arcane knowledge, or even an interesting story to keep her occupied during the long sleepless nights as her male companians snore like a pack of overgrown boars.
Blackbird McAllister edges along the corridor of books scanning titles for anything useful. If Elder Hirthryu's warning was any indication - the knowledge they seek will be further ahead and under heavy guard.
Up ahead Akasha can make out a single passage leading further East. The corridor takes a turn to the North and South as well. But only the path straight ahead ends in the shape of a door frame containing a flickering light - like that of a small campfire.
Countless thousands of books and thick tomes stack on one another building walls of books. The walls become an interconnected series of halls formed by books. And stuffed in the cracks, crevices, and corners are scrolls and notes from those who've passed this way before.
Nothing of significance is seen here.
