Akasha bounds to the front of the party, whirling around and heading West, she smiles playfully and asks Big Coin "Can your wee little legs keep up sir pennybags or shall I give you a lift on my strong Elvin back?"
Before he can answer she winks and takes off towards the Hall of Genealogy, "Last one there has to pay my bar tab!" She yells behind her as she flies down the street with near supernatural ease. Years of running through the forest has clearly been kind to her agility. Her mind on the other hand is another story entirely.
As the party moves through the dark alleys, Benziken modestly suggests that they move toward the city center. He feels certain the Hall of Genealogy is located somewhere to the North.

Benziken notices a lonely beggar woman on the side of the street. He crouches near her and holds out three gold coins (3 GP was removed from Benziken's Character Sheet). "Point me, and my friends here, toward the Hall of Genealogy kind lady, and I shall make it..."
He is cut off as the woman snatches his gold with one hand, points West with another, and splatters his face with spittle and spray as she sticks her tongue out at him!
Blackbird McAllister throws an arm around the hobbit's shoulders and shakes his head. "That dark elf knows more about this city than that old beggar woman. I'll admit that's nice - but there's so much more ... hmm ... interesting things to spend your gold on, my friend." Blackbird briefly recalls the barmaid cartwheeling across the bar as they exited the tavern.
Piker Big Coin, Khan McDoo, and Aiyana follow close behind Blackbird McAllister. Ahead they can see Akasha already leaning on the huge marble columns at the entrance of the overwhelming Halls of Genealogy.

The streets open up a bit so that the early morning light begins to break through the roofline. While still dirty and run down, the white marble columns of the gigantic structure stand out in stark comparison to the squalor surrounding them. The many steps lead to the entrance, where an ornate door rests slightly ajar.
