Drad Silor will be pleased to learn the party has finally put an end to his rat infestation. This week. The entire party is proud of their accomplishment, and begins to heal from any wounds received. (All party members are fully healed by this turn.)
As a small reward for your service, aside from any Drad Silor may have in mind, the adventurers who battled a foe will receive 11 Experience Points each. (Experience from battles explained: http://realmsofadventures.weebly.com/mechanics.html)
Khan McDoo - +11 XP
Aiyana - +11 XP
Ser Boros - +11 XP
Akasha - +11 XP
Blackbird - +11 XP
"Well as happy I am that we murdered some rather odiforous vermin, the smell of burning hair and ancient mildew is a bit much for me" states Akasha, "I vote we head up into a warmer more ale filled enviroment and collect our much deserved award!"
Akasha moves silently towards the ladder and grasps the bottom rung, "the more time we spend down here the less time we spend getting payed up there, and maybe its our recent rodent foray, but I have a sudden hankering for a fight with some goblins, let's go!"

Piker Big Coin looks at the remains of the boss rat and the blood on Khan McDoo's hands. He shakes his head and says, "You were thinking about Sven again weren't you, friend? You have to let that stuff goes. Now, I believe we have an reward to collect. I wonder if Silor is going to make us share it with those other guys."
Piker begins to walk back through the cellar toward the exit.
Blackbird nudges past Ser Boros and Khan McDoo toward the dripping hole in the ceiling. Something doesn't seem right to him. The water from the hole drips continuously and yet no puddle has formed. Blackbird runs his leather boot along the edge of the floor and the wall. Nothing appears out of place. He reaches up to feel around the inside of the hole from which the water is dripping. Inside Blackbird can feel a knob or a stone finger jetting down toward the floor.
Blackbird asks Aiyana if she found anything in the chest upstairs. Shocked that anyone knew she had stayed behind to pilfer the contents, Aiyana stammers a short answer - "Yes! A parchment with a list, and a ring."
"Let me see that ring," Blackbird says slowly, and quizzically, as he continues to examine the dripping hole in the ceiling.
Blackbird takes the gold signet ring with the inset ruby, and holds it in the tips of his fingers. He lifts the ring above his head and slips it into the hold. Aiyana is beside herself with frustration and anger! How dare Blackbird ruin this beautiful ring in that filthy water.
Just as she is about to scold him, Blackbird looks directly into Aiyana's eyes and smiles widely. With a sharp twist of his wrist, and a pop of his shoulder, Blackbird releases the ring and it remains seated in the hole set firmly around the protruding stone finger.
No sooner does Blackbird drop his arm than a growing sound begins to echo through the cellar. Benziken, Master Sung, Sabastine, and Wilhelm stop in their tracks as the sound of wet stone grating against wet stone begins to fill the chamber with noise. The grinding continues for a short time until a small doorway is revealed where there once was none.
(Scene Description)
Where the wall was once covered in green slime and water stains, a small doorway to a chamber has been revealed. Along the wall of the cellar here you can see water stains running over the rough hewn stones. There is a small hole in the ceiling where water is dripping out. However, along the floor there is no sign of a puddle forming. The sound of constantly dripping water toward the back corner of the cellar is stronger now. It almost covers the song of cave crickets escaping spiders.
(Scene Items)
Large barrels of ale line the walls and are piled in the center of the large tavern cellar. Tossed atop the sealed barrels are large canvas storage bags filled with various tavern foods.
(Scene NPCs)
All the Giant Rats have been properly dealt with and now lie - rotting or smoldering - near the pile of barrels and storage bags. You see little more here than a few tiny spiders and cave crickets jumping about.
(Exits)
EAST: Along the eastern Cellar Wall
DOWN: Down into the Chamber behind the Cellar Wall
HINT: Be sharp! There are surprises around every corner. The Realms are filled with creatures to battle, yes. But also puzzles to solve, riddles to unravel, and items to unlock. Don't ever be too hasty to examine your surroundings more closely. You never know what you will find...
