Master Sung stands up and extends his hand to Blackbird "We shall, fore it is the way to enlightenment..." Master Sung smiles, "But not before my tea." He returns sitting. Blackbird rounds the monks neck with a gentle arm and tugs him to his feet. "The busty broad will have ye tea readied for the road old friend! Let's go!"
Smiling maliciously Sabastine looks to Blackbird "I could have not said it any better myself. Let us get organized." He looks to Master Sung, "One of us needs to figure out just what goblin issues they are having and where. I would hate to stumble onto a small horde and end up with a goblin spear through my gullet!"
"You seem like the conversationalist, Master Sung, why don't you go ask around and find out what information you can dig up." I will talk need to visit and speak with my connections as well. Oh and I need to equip myself for a venture into the wilds." He looks to the others at the table, "Will you be joining us?"

After a time of quietly listening to the conversations amongst the other individuals on the balcony, Aiyana decides to join in the adventure.
As the lot stumbles down the narrow, loose stairs from the balcony into the main room Sabastine shouts to the barmaid impatiently "My dear, my throat couldn't be any drier, ale please I am dying here."
As the others head down stairs, Aiyana doesn't follow right away because she wanted to find out what was in the tavern keepers locked chest. She was hoping to find some things that could help her on the adventure.
After some simple lock pick work Aiyana forces the chest open with her dagger. Inspection of the contents yields two healing potions (10 150 250), a list of city merchants (0 15 0) in debt to the tavern owner, and a gold Silor family signet ring (0 345 675) with an embedded ruby. After going through the chest, Aiyana quickly caught up to the others.
Benziken stays behind and continues playing solitaire for the moment. Perhaps he'll catch up tot he others after finishing his card game.
(Scene Description)
The small tavern is crowded. Enough city dwellers, port workers, farmers, merchants, and even monks of the cathedral are crammed into the small den to make it uncomfortable.
To the south side of the room, leaning against the thick door beam is Akasha, a female dark elf sorceress. Her dark leather armor is almost indistinguishable from her dark smooth skin. The look in her eye catches every one of the men in the party. Heads turn without their control, and mouths drop to catch more flies than ale.
Aiyana comes through the threshold of the staircase and bump into the gawkers, sending them jostling forward and bumping Master Sung into the edge of the bar.
(Scene Items)
The smell of the crowd, the limited selection of ale and food, and the few decorations adorning the walls of this small tavern tell you it is one of the lower class establishments in the City (if not all the Realms).
(Scene NPCs)
Drad Silor nabs the monk by the edge of his clothing, "Then it's you who pays the tab, aye? And I should think it's about time! Your party eats more than those giant rats in the cellar. Which... now that I think of it might be a better form of payment than standard coin of the Realms. How do you feel about bilge rats that bite?"
"And here you are 'kind sir'," Malurie Ardan states sarcastically as she hands Sabastine his ale. Ser Boros Barristan laughs under his breath at Sabastine, to which Malurie jabs him in the side with her elbow and saunters off into the entertainment hall to serve more drinks.
Master Sung takes his hot tea from Drad Silor, and ponders the alternative payment offer. "It couldn't get any worse for me around here. I'm too busy to squash those things myself, but they are eating and drinking my entire months supply, and Malurie is much too frightened by their size to help," says Drad.
(Exits)
