Akasha comes to as she is being dragged towards the fire. "Never took you for the frisky type" she mumbles. Her mouth felt like a sandpaper covered desert but her few minutes of unconsciousness had apparently done a lot of good and she slowly rose to her feet.
"My hero," she wryly grinned as she leaned on Blackbird McAllister's shoulder for stability. "How about we not do that again." Akasha glances up and looks across the room to a very unwelcome sight.

A familiar scene was laid out before the pair - a chamber of books stacked to the ceiling, a bonfire in the center, and four figures tearing through historical tomes as if they were trash.
"We've got to get out of here, or put an end to this!" Blackbird urgently stated under his breath. Peering across the room one item stood out in stark contrast to their last encounter.
On one of the giant tables near the bonfire, a stack of five large volumes was set aside. Gold lettering embossed the spine of each one, and glistened in the dancing flames. Blackbird knew without a doubt these books were important to the foul creatures. But at what cost were the figures willing to defend them?
