Into The Frying Pan

The adventurers settle below a ring of flames, into a dark chamber filled with still more books.

Akasha wearily looks around, "I think I may have gone a little overboard on that one" she wearily says, not even turning to look at Blackbird. Akasha falls in a pile - weary in both mind and body. "Just give me a minute" she whispers as her eyes flutter shut. They are stinging a bit from the smoke still clinging to her clothes and hair.

Blackbird McAllister coughs against the cloud of smoke filling the lower chamber. He wraps his arms around Akasha's chest, and drags her over to the outline of a doorway.

Peering around the beams into another room - with halls familiarly formed of stacks of books and tomes - Blackbird makes out another small bonfire to the south of the cavernous chamber.

Apparently the noisy crash did not alert anyone near those flames to the adventurer's presence. "It's as good as anywhere else..." Blackbird mumbles, as he begins to drag the semi-concious Akasha toward the light source.

The cavernous chamber is dark except for a small bonfire to the south. The hallways of this chamber are formed by books and tomes. The floor is solid stone.
