Mythic Test - Scene 1

The party wakes in the thick woods as a few small beams of sunlight break through the canopy. They break camp and continue moving toward their intended destination. North. Always further North.

From what they had gathered, the Orc Leader had settled a band of Orc Bandits far to the North. Just shy of the icy tundra, but far away from the prosperous shore they all called home.

Breaking through the treeline, the party is stunned to see a large castle dominating the horizon.

Barbarian (Player 1)

"Halt here," I sharply command. "We don't know if they are friend, or foe." The Barbarian finds a large tree and thick brush to hide behind while he watches the castle.

Are there guards visible at the castle?
Yes.

How many guards are spotted?
3 = 3[d6]

Are the guards heavily armored?
No.

Do the guards merely wear tunics and robes on their patrols?
No.

Then there is light armor! Consisting of a helmet, studded leather, thick breeches, heavy boots, and small shield?
Yes.

Are the guards well equipped with weapons?
No.

Do they merely carry short swords?
Yes.

Thief

"I could sneak closer if you like, Barbarian!" the small Thief says in a whisper. The Barbarian nods agreement.

Is the Thief spotted approaching the castle?
Yes.

Does a guard spot the Thief?
No.

(* Get NPC)
Obnoxious groundskeeper.

"Oy! Ye there! Get's outta me hedgerow!" shouts the Obnoxious Groundskeeper. The Thief hurries over to him, but stays hidden from the view of the guards.
