Character Attributes
The Character Attributes are the same for every character found in Realms of Adventures. While some Attributes will not be relevant to creatures, the Attributes are the common traits players use to compare themselves with the rest of the world.
Attribute Rank is earned through Focused Time spent performing any Skill in the specific attribute class Attribute Rank is increased when the Focused Time threshold is reached Attribute Rank increases by +1 for every 25:00 Focused Time Hours you earn Once you reach 25:00 FT Hours, the Attribute increases by +1 When you reach 50:00 FT Hours - the Attribute raises to +2 ... and so on ... Strength (STR)
Strength measures muscle and physical power. The Strength ability is important for characters who engage in hand-to-hand (or "melee") combat, such as Fighters, Monks, Paladins, and some Rangers. A character with a Strength score of 0 is too weak to move in any way and is unconscious.

Dexterity measures agility, reflexes, and balance. This ability is the most important one for rogues, but it's also useful for characters who wear light or medium armor or no armor at all. Dexterity is vital for characters seeking to excel with ranged weapons, such as the bow or sling. A character with a Dexterity score of 0 is incapable of moving and is effectively immobile (but not unconscious).

- Ranged attacks, including attacks made with bows, crossbows, throwing axes, and many ranged spells
- Reflex skills, for avoiding fireballs and other attacks that your character might escape by moving quickly
- Acrobatics, Disable Device, Escape Artist, Fly, Ride, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth skills
Constitution (CON)
Constitution represents your character's health and stamina. Constitution and Strength combine to increases your character's hit points, so the ability is important for all classes. Some creatures, such as the undead, have no Constitution. As such, a player character with a Constitution score of 0 is dead.

Intelligence (INT)
Intelligence determines how well your character learns and reasons. Intelligence is important for Wizards because it affects their spell casting ability in many ways. Creatures of animal-level instinct have and Intelligence rank of only 1 or 2. Any creature capable of understanding speech has a rank of at least 3. A character with an Intelligence rank of 0 is comatose. Some creatures do not possess an Intelligence rank.

- Specific skills such as Appraise, Craft, Knowledge, Linguistics, and Spellcraft
Wisdom (WIS)
Wisdom is a measure of your character's willpower, common sense, awareness, and intuition. Wisdom is the most important ability for Clerics and Druids. Wisdom is also important for Monks and Rangers. If you want your character to have acute senses, increase his or her Wisdom. Every creature has a Wisdom score, no matter how low. Any character with a Wisdom score of 0 is incapable of rational thought and is considered unconscious.

- Specific skills such as Heal, Perception, Profession, Sense Motive, and Survival
Charisma (CHA)
Charisma measures your Character's personality, personal magnetism, ability to lead, and their appearance. Charisma is the most important ability for Paladins, Sorcerers, and Bards. The Charisma ability is also important for Clerics, because Charisma affects their ability to channel energy. For undead creatures, Charisma is a measure of their unnatural "life force." Every creature has a Charisma score. A character with a Charisma score of 0 is not able to exert himself in any way and is considered unconscious.
